in Adopted Shibas

Update: Ginger’s foster mom and dad, Meghan and Patrick decided they would miss Ginger too much if she found a forever home elsewhere so they decided to adopt her themselves!! Joining our rescue is this gorgeous big girl, Ginger! She is 7 yrs old and recently spayed. Ginger is house-trained and leash trained. She does well with other dogs as long as they give her space! She has not been around cats at all since being in the foster home. Ginger seems to be good with children also. She weighs aprox 35lbs. Ginger would love to find a new home soon!

Would love to know more about adopting this dog. My daughter rescued a Shiba Inu, Maggie May, about eight years ago. I am very familiar with the breed and love the personality and character. I am in North Tampa and would be able to meet her when I return my visting my daughter for Thanksgiving. May I contact you by phone? Or you may call me at 813.245.4303. You may also call my daughter’s phone ( Julie) at 312.961.0459.
Thank you!

I was wondering if ginger was still available, we are currently looking for a shiba inu to adopt. I have had shibas in the past and love the breed. You can contact me at playitloudlike@yahoo.com that is my email. I am in the deland fl area but would be willing to travel to pick up.

Wanted to find out about Ginger’s adoption status. My husband and I are huge Shiba fans and would love to adopt one. Just want to make sure we are the right fit for her first. Please feel free to email me at SarahLChristovich @ gmail . com

Yes Ginger is still available. Once a dog is adopted I move it to the adopted dog page.

There’s no problem with bringing your dog to meet Ginger! We would encourage that! Please send an email to kcrandell@ahibainurescueflorida.org and we can get that set up for you.
