My name is Akai but you can call me Kai! I just had my 2nd Birthday in August and I am looking forward to spending my 3rd Birthday with a family to call my own! I weigh 21 lbs they say I’m a “red” Shiba but I think my coat looks more fawn in color! I know how to walk on the leash and I love to go for walks and to the dog park. I am very kind to kitty cats and some dogs I like and some I don’t so I’ll have to check them out first before deciding whether I could live with them! Are you the right family for me? We are interested in adopting Akai. We have a male Shiba Inu named Puck and he is a little over a year old. He plays very well with other dogs and loves kids and people. Has this baby girl been adopted? We would like to learn more about her if she is still available. We do not have other dogs or anything but we do have a 2 year old little boy as well as a 14 year old boy who saw her picture and fell in love!

Is Akai still up for adoption & how do I find out more information. I have 2kids (8 & 6yrs) so I want to be sure she does well with children. This would be their first dog. We currently have no pets but I had an Akita/Chow for 14yrs that passed away years ago.
