Duke is the newest edition to SIRF as we picked him up from Miami Dade Animal Services after he was turned in by his owner. No time and no space is a common reason people turn in their dogs. While there he was attacked by a larger dog and ended up with a gash on his belly. He is recuperating nicely from a few stitches he ended up receiving. He is Heart worm negative and house-trained. He is energetic and likes the backyard as well as walks. He seems to be ok with other dogs and he wants to play with the cats which isn’t always a good thing as he plays rather rough. He is very friendly and knows how the commands “sit” and “laydown” He is about 25 lbs and could stand to lose a couple. His demeanor is very friendly and full of energy!
