Katsu-11month old male Shiba Inu-Adopted

Katsu is a gorgeous black and tan Shiba Inu who has some medical issues at this point. He is 10months old and about 18lbs. Katsu broke one of his rear legs when a cabinet fell on him. His owner could not afford the surgery to repair his broken leg. His other leg is deformed from birth at the tibial growth plate. When his broken leg was good he did not use this deformed limb. Now he is having to use it so he can drag himself around. This is a good thing we are hoping, so that that leg will strengthen for the future. Katsu is house trained and super sweet. He is very timid and would rather not have you watching him. He seems to be fine around cats although he is unable to chase even if he wanted to! Once he is healed from this injury he will have to be neutered. His journey to health may be a long one but we are here to help him get thru it. Updates will occur as time goes on. We are not taking applications for him at this time.
